THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS GOVERN THE USE OF WWW.WOOMBYECHEESE.COM AND THE PURCHASE OF ANY GOODS AND SERVICES FROM IT.
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully. By using this website you agree to be bound by its terms, conditions, disclaimers and limitations of liability.
Days of operation
Woombye Cheese hours of operation are 9.00am – 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
Any queries should be directed to: beth@woombyecheese.com prior to ordering If the items in the box are faulty, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and we will be happy to investigate with regards to a replacement or a refund.
Payment
You agree to pay for all products and services you order. Prices given on product pages exclude delivery. Payments are accepted via our website through third party payment gateways listed at checkout. All payments are settled in AUD and any merchant fees for foreign conversation charged are payable by the customer. By confirming your purchase, you are confirming your agreement to all of these Terms. Payment card use may be subject to processing fees, but you will be informed of those prior to finalising your purchase.
All prices advertised on our website are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of goods and services (GST). Please note: some boxes that contain GST-Free food items are taxed at an apportioned GST rate as per paragraph 75 of “Goods and services tax: Apportioning the consideration for a supply that includes taxable and non-taxable parts”
Ordering
By placing an order with us, you are making an offer to purchase the desired products and services from us. If an item is currently unavailable it will be substituted with a similar item of equal value. You are not permitted to order any products for resale to a third party. We reserve the right to accept or reject any offer you make us. No minimum order applies. If you have large requirements, please contact us directly by emailing us at beth@woombyecheese.com. For us to put your order through, we need some information from you. Some of these include your name, contact details, billing address, delivery address, and payment details. Woombye Cheese operates in accordance to the Privacy Act 1988. Your personal information will never be shared. You should receive a message on the screen confirming your order once your payment has gone through. If you don’t, there may have been a problem with processing your order. Please send us an email in this event.

Delivery – post
The cost of postage is $20.00 per box. This is express post. This is subject to change and will be updated on our website as the changes occur. We require orders to be placed by Tuesday 10am if you wish to receive your order by the end of the same week. Orders received after this will be processed and sent by the following Monday. We cannot post to PO Boxes.
Delivery – hand
Our delivery hours are Monday to Friday between 9AM and 2PM. Please note we are not able to guarantee delivery at a specific time of day. We do not provide same-day service. For something urgent, please email beth@woombyecheese.com. We cannot mail to PO Boxes. Orders for delivery must be received by 10am Wednesday to ensure delivery the same week. Orders placed after Wednesday, will be delivered the following Monday. We do not deliver on weekends or public holidays.
Undeliverable items
A gift is considered as undeliverable if
(a) the Recipient’s address is incomplete, incorrect, or cannot be located,
(b) there is no one at home to receive the gift and there is nowhere safe to leave the gift
(c) difficulty with access – unit, apartment, gates, unsafe to enter
(c) the delivery is refused by the recipient before opening the package
All undeliverable gifts will be returned to Woombye Cheese where the customer will be liable for all charges and fees incurred in returning, storing, or disposing of an undeliverable gift. We will inform you immediately of a box being returned to us. An applicable re-delivery fee will be passed on to you to facilitate the delivery of the box to the same or an alternative address. Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been prepared and passed on for delivery. Please ensure delivery details are accurate.
Goods and Returns
If the items in the box are faulty, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and we will be happy to investigate with regards to a replacement or a refund. Goods cannot be returned unless we are required by law to do so. If we agree to a return, there may be a restocking and handling fee payable. Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as cheese, cannot be returned. If we agree to a return, as required by law, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. You must notify us within 24 hours of delivery to begin the returns process. The customer is liable for the cost of returning the goods to Woombye Cheese. Transport costs incurred as part of the original order are non-refundable and any transport fees are deducted from the refund amount.
Alcohol Delivery Disclaimer
Woombye Cheese supports the Responsible Service of Alcohol, and our owner holds a current RSA Certificate. Under the Liquor Act 1992, it is against the law to supply liquor to a person in Queensland under the age of 18 years. It is also an offence for a person under the age of 18 years to purchase or receive liquor from another person.
In placing an order for a hamper box that contains alcohol, you warrant to Woombye Cheese that:
you are over the age of 18 years,
any person that you are obtaining the Goods for, or supply the Goods to, is over the age of 18 years,
you will not take or supply any part of your order to any liquor-restricted area,
gifts must be delivered between the hours of 7am – 7pm,
gift boxes must be delivered as gifts to adults,
the recipient may be asked to provide a valid ID as proof of age and to sign for the Goods,
you must ensure that a person aged 18 years or over is available to accept these Goods.
To ensure compliance with liquor licensing laws, maximum volume (1.5L), liquor value (50% of the total sale price) and other restrictions apply to orders that include alcohol.
